- SynopsisFollowing the defeat of Napoleon, the Duke of Corlaine and his henchman Count Villiers have taken control of the French countryside and imprisoned anyone who questions their authority. On his return from the war, Captain Scarlett discovers that his estate has been seized by the Count and that Princess Maria has been taken hostage. In the process of rescuing the Princess, Scarlett is captured and imprisoned together with fellow nobleman Pierre DuCloux. After successfully escaping, they take an oath to rid France of the corrupt Duke and his henchman… forever.
