Pioneer (aka Pionér) DVD

After enormous oil and gas deposits are discovered in the North Sea a corporate battle ensues between competing diving teams to win the lucrative contract to lay the pipeline deep on the ocean bed. Norwegian diver Petter (Aksel Hennie - Headhunters) is obsessed with reaching the depths necessary to lay the pipeline and, along with his brother, take on the Americans, who have an equally ambitious diver in Mike (Wes Bentley - The Hunger Games). But a sudden, tragic accident changes everything. In trying to get to the truth behind the accident Petter finds himself up against shadowy forces and an industrial machine that will go to any lengths to keep the truth under-wraps.
