Star Trek - The Next Generation Season 6 DVD
Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG) focuses on the 24th century adventures of Captain Jean-Luc Picard aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701-D). This incarnation of the famous starship is much larger than the one captained by James T. Kirk a century earlier, and, accordingly, it carries a larger crew complement: 1,012 men, women…and, surprisingly, children. This era’s Starfleet Command believes that men and women are more likely to sign up for long-term exploratory missions if they think of their ship as home. Thus, Picard’s crew enjoys many of the comforts they’d have otherwise left behind, including a wide variety of recreational opportunities, “replicated” food dishes to suit every palate, and quarters large enough to share with spouses and offspring. There are schools for the children and a bar (stocked with synthetic alcohol, or synthehol) where the adults can unwind. However, the ongoing mission—no longer limited to a mere five years—remains virtually the same as it was during Kirk’s time: to seek out new life and new civilizations, and to boldly go where no one has gone before. Episodes 1-4 Time's Arrow, Part II: 46001.3 Tracked by Samuel Clemens, the crew travel back to the 1890s to find and retrieve Data. Realm Of Fear: 46041.1 Nervous officer Reginald Barclay discovers creatures in the transporter beam trying to attack him. Man Of The People: 46071.6 Aging bizarrely and uncontrollably, Deanna Troi's libido runs wild. Relics: 46125.3 Captain Kirk's chief engineer “Scotty” is found trapped within a transporter beam after seventy-five years. Episodes 5-8 Schisms: 46154.2 Following a routine experiment, Enterprise crewmembers experience debilitating pains from a strange source. True Q: 46192.3 A student on the Enterprise discovers that she is a member of the powerful Q Continuum. Rascals: 46235.7 Picard, Ro, Keiko and Guinan are turned into twelve-year-old children just prior to an attack on the Enterprise. A Fistful Of Datas: 46271.5 Worf and Alexander face gunslinger Data in a deadly Wild West simulation on the holodeck. Episode 9-12 The Quality Of Life: 46307.2 In a mining station, Data determines that some of the station's computers are “alive”. Chain Of Command, Part I: 46357.4 Picard, Wolf and Crusher are reassigned on a secret mission to destroy Cardassian weaponry. Chain of command, Part II: 46360.8 Picard endures horrendous physical and psychological abuse from a Cardassian torturer. Ship In A Bottle: 46424.1 Data accidentally releases the hologram Professor Moriaty, who manages to leave the Holodeck! Episodes 13-16 Aquiel: 46461.3 Investigating the disappearance of an officer, Geordi falls in love with the missing lieutenant. Face Of The Enemy: 46519.1 Troi impersonates an intelligence officer on board a Romulan Warbird with a distinctly hostile captain. Tapestry: Stardate Unknown Q gives Picard the life-changing chance to avoid a near-fatal accident in his past. Birthright, Part I: 46578.4 Data experiences surreal “dreams” while Work tracks his father to a Romulan prison camp! Episodes 17-20 Birthright, Part II – 46579.2 Imprisoned by Klingons and Romulans, Worf vows to awaken the honour of his captor's children. Starship Mine: 46682.4 Picard plays cat-and-mouse with six deadly intruders on a dark and deserted Enterprise. Lessons: 46693.1 Picard falls for one of his officers, then must order her into a potentially fatal situation. The Chase: 46731.5 Picard's former professor tempts him with an offer to join the hunt for a powerful artefact. Episodes 21-24 Frame Of Mind: 46778.1 Taking on a demanding role, Riker begins to confuse reality and theatre. Suspicions: 46830.1 When two scientists are found dead, Beverly Crusher investigates and is relieved of duty. Rightful Heir: 46852.2 Seeking reassurance in his beliefs, Worf witnesses a Klingon God return from the dead! Second chances: 46915.2 Revisiting a hostile planet, Riker encounters his own double, created in an accident years earlier. Episodes 25-26 Timescape: 46944.2 Picard and Data return to find the Enterprise frozen in time and being destroyed by Romulans.
