The Flesh Is Weak DVD

The Flesh Is Weak DVD
The Best of Bitish Collection: Odeon Entertainment is proud to release some of the forgotten classics from the Golden Age of British Cinema. Comedies, thrillers, murder mysteries and films that entertained the post-war generation are now available on DVD for the very first time. Tony Giani (John Derek) is a handsome pimp who preys on naive young women who arrive in London looking for fame and fortune. He wines and dines them and gets them a place to stay but soon blackmails them into prostitution. One such girl is pretty Italian Marissa (Milly Vitale) who instantly falls under Giants wicked spell. But when Milly tries to escape her tawdry surroundings her life is put in mortal danger. It seems that only a kindly investigative journalist (William Franklyn) can rescue Marissa from her life stuck in the sordid gutters of Soho. Directed by renowned British-born Hollywood director Don Chaffey (One Million Years BC and The Prisoner), this once-notorious ‘X-rated 1950’s shocker scandalised the British film industry and was inspired by terrifying real life events. The little-seen British crime classics is preserved here in a beautifully restored new print.
