Tucked away in an estate outside of London, Professor Coupland (Jared Harris, Mad Men, Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows) and a team of university students are attempting to conduct an ‘experiment’ on Jane Harper (Olivia Cooke, Bates Motel), a young girl who harbours unspeakable secrets. Professor Coupland is determined to prove that Jane’s affliction is nothing more than negative mental energy, which can simply be removed. Aided by two willing students and amateur cameraman Brian (Sam Claflin, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), the scientists set about on the experiment to prove their theory and ultimately free Jane. What dark forces they uncover are more terrifying than any of them expected.
