Gregoire Canvel (Louis-Do de Lencquesaing) is an independent film producer who balances the never-ending demands of his professional life with a full and happy private life, spending his weekends at his country house with his wife Sylvia (Chiara Caselli) and three young daughters.
But as his company spirals towards bankruptcy, he loses his grip and, feeling utterly trapped, finds a tragic and irreversible way out of his unbearable situation.
Sylvia is now left to hold her family together and maintain the artistic legacy that her husband worked so hard to carve out for himself.
