Tetro DVD
From Oscar award winning director Francis Ford Coppola (Apocalypse Now, The Godfather trilogy) comes Tetro, a bittersweet tale of two brothers whose family secrets run so deep that even they don't know how to reveal the truths to each other, let alone admit them to themselves. Vincent Gallo (Buffalo 66) plays Tetro, a man who has reinvented himself in the heart of Buenos Aires in order to escape his past. Everything changes one day when his brother Bennie comes to visit Tetro's girlfriend, played by Maribel Verdi (Pan's Labyrinth), is intrigued and prompts the newcomer to tell her more about their past - to find out what they are hiding. Tetro's father, played by Klaus Maria Brandauer (Memphisto), is an acclaimed symphony director and a great force in his son's life, fueling his self-doubt yet driving his creativity, just by existing. Tetro is ultimately about rivalry within a family, between people who love each other, with a good dose of vengeance, demons, desire and redemption thrown in.
