DELICATESSEN:
In a distant, apocalyptic future where grain is used as currency and meat has become a rare commodity. Dominique Pinon (Diva) plays an unemployed clown who finds work as a maintenance man in a squalid apartment block situated above a butcher's shop. Having fallen in love with the owner's daughter, he soon discovers the sinister truth behind the ominous landlord's unsavoury intentions. With its iconic, surreal imagery, gallows humour and its cast of warped characters, Delicatessen was the breakthrough collaboration between celebrated directors Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

THE CITY OF LOST CHILDREN:
When the adopted son of a former circus strongman (Ron Perlam: Cronos, Hellboy, The Name Of The Rose) is abducted from a small fishing village by mysterious forces, he enlists the help of street urchin Miette (Judith Vittet) and together they set forth on a surreal journey that will eventually lead them into the strange world of tormented scientist, Krank. Aided by his group of clones and a disembodied brain called Irvin, Krank is intent on kidnapping children so as to steal their dreams and use them to reverse the ageing process. Visually captivating, The City of Lost Children remains one of the most original fantasy films in contemporary cinema.

THE BUNKER OF THE LAST GUNSHOTS:
An early collaboration from Director’s Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet, The Bunker (of the Last Gunshots), a short film, tells the futuristic tale of a group of paranoid and distraught soldiers trapped in an underground bunker, awaiting the imminent attack from their enemy. But a strange discovery sets off a series of dramatic events that can only lead to betrayal and eventually death. With a profound sense for the absurd and a uniquely stylised vision Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet play with narratives and themes that they would later elaborate on in future projects such as Delicatessen and The City Of Lost Children.
