Falling Skies opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. At the center of the series is Tom Mason (Noah Wyle), a Boston history professor whose family was torn apart. Tom must put his extensive movement known as the 2nd Mass. Joining him are Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation) as Anne Glass, who becomes the primary medic of the 2nd Mass, and Will Patton (Armageddon, TNT's Into The West) as a firece leader of the resistance, Captain Weaver. It is a tale of endurance, commitment and courage in which everyday people are called upon to become heroes. Falling Skies The Complete Series consisting of five seasons, is executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Amblin Television heads Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank, along with executive producers Robert Rodat and Graham Yost and co-executive producers Mark Verheiden and Greg Beeman for Season 1; Remi Aubuchon, Greg Beeman and Robert Rodat as executive producers for Season 2; Remi Aubuchon and Greg Beeman as executive producers for Season 3; David Eick and Greg Beeman as executive producers for season 4; and David Eick as executive producer and co-executive producers Todd Sharp and Olatunde Osunanmi for Season 5. Robert Rodat, who earned an Oscar nomination for his screenplay for Saving Private Ryan, wrote the pilot from an idea he co-conceived with Spielberg.
