- SynopsisOscar-nominated writer-director Mike Leigh (Secrets and Lies, Abigail's Party) assembled the cream of emerging British acting tale for Meantime - a typically sharp and quirky portrait of family relationships. Meantime centres on an East End family, the Pollacks - Mavis, Frank and their sons Mark and Colin - and their experience of unemployment, poverty and life in early 1980s Britain.
